Be as accurate as possible.

Lesson 1 takes under ten minutes, with no account needed.

Every lesson grades the work you hand in, the way a reviewer would.

AI writes a convincing first draft. Signing off is still your job.

The lessons drill the checks that catch what a fluent answer hides.

  • Fluent isn't right. An answer can read well and still carry the wrong total.
  • Invented support. A reason or citation that isn't in the files.
  • No review record. Nothing to show what went in and who checked it.

Travel rose $3,280.00 in October. The increase reflects the annual conference.

Unsupported: nothing in the files mentions a conference

Three grades. The numbers are checked by code.

Totals, variances and cited lines are worked out from the lesson's own files, so a grade never rests on an AI's arithmetic.

  • Totals and variances worked out from the source data.
  • Required items and cited lines checked line by line.
  • A hint when you miss, never the answer.

Guides for accountants using AI

Free articles on the questions accountants ask about AI. Each one ends in a lesson where you can practice it.

Questions?

What accountants ask before they start lesson 1.

Can AI do a bank reconciliation or flux analysis for me?

It can do a fast first pass. It can also miss a transposed figure or give a reason the files don't support, so someone still has to tie it out. Lessons 1 and 2 practice exactly that check.

Is it safe to put client data into AI tools?

It depends on the tool and your firm's policy. Our guide Is it safe to put client data into ChatGPT? covers what can go in, what needs anonymizing first and what should never go in. The lessons themselves use their own practice files.

Is this a prompting course?

No. You do a real task with an assistant inside the site, and the work you produce is graded. Writing a clear instruction is one move among several, alongside checking totals, testing citations and correcting the AI.

Do I need to bring my own client data?

No. Every lesson comes with its own source files: the export, the ledger, the invoices. You never paste in your own data.

Which AI tool do the lessons use?

Our own neutral chat panel. The habits carry over to whichever assistant your firm uses.

Does it earn CPE credit?

Not yet. Lessons don't carry CPE credit today.

What does it cost?

Lessons 1 and 2 are free. After that it's $24 a month, or $124 a year.
